The Palm Springs Air Museum, where history comes alive and visitors can get close to vintage World War II and Korea/Vietnam era aircraft. “One Of The Best Aviation Museums In The World” – CNN.

Aircraft on display are inside 100,000 square feet of four climate-controlled hangars with more outside on the tarmac. From World War II through aircraft flown from aircraft carriers right to our own ramp. Many of them flyable today and participate in our flight demonstrations, and all 59 restored and up close for you. Historical displays and artifacts include the Pearl Harbor diorama narrated by NBC journalist and author Tom Brokaw, Aviation Art by the world renown Stan Stokes, the Women Pilots of WWII exhibit, the Tuskegee Airmen displays, and our extensive collection and interactive research of Vietnam War era POW/MIA Bracelets.

So very much more to explore including touring the inside of our World War II giant four engine “Flying Fortress”, flight simulators and our 10,000 volume research library and education center. Watch documentaries daily in our Buddy Rogers Theatre, lunch in our Cafe right under the wing of the B-17. Get a unique gift in our Museum Store for someone special or even yourself!

And not to be missed is our 376 volunteers and docents who will guide you through the facility. Many of whom flew the very aircraft you will see, stood on the beaches of Guadalcanal and flew to the edge of Outer Space.

Open daily from 10am – 5pm. The Palm Springs Air Museum is a very special place that you will always remember. Thank You!
