Do you have a drone but struggle to capture beautiful looking drone imagery like all the beautiful content you see online from your favorite photographers and image makers? Or maybe you feel comfortable taking your drone up in the air but then find it challenging on what do to next to capture something interesting and cinematic? Do you want to feel more comfortable as a drone pilot so you can focus on capturing stunning aerial imagery? Are you looking to take your drone work to the next level? If so then this hands-on workshop is for you!

In this intensive one-day class, photographer and master drone pilot Dirk Dallas will demonstrate advanced techniques on how to fly and capture photos and videos using drones. This will include learning about the autonomous intelligent flight modes found on today’s most popular drones, as well as how to make a location come alive with different shooting styles and techniques, how to be professional on a set, along with safe flight operations and emergency procedures. Students will get individual hands-on flight time with a variety of aircraft systems from leading drone manufacture DJI.

NOTE: Samy’s Camera drone specialist Billy Malo will be on-hand to work with attendees wishing to pilot drones, and will bring a range of the latest drone gear / camera combinations for the class.
